Tamara Evans is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at the Military College of Vermont before serving five years active duty in the United States Army. Tamara later attended Nova Southeastern University to complete her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
During her time working in the mental health field, Tamara has treated clients struggling with a number of challenges, including substance use, complex and developmental trauma, depression, and anxiety. She has experience in working with a variety of populations, including Veterans and young adults. Tamara takes a relational, straightforward approach to therapy, and prides herself on supporting clients in discovering their own unique path to healing.
